The 2002 LAEFL season was the biggest ever, with 24 teams spread out through the southland (Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside, San Diego, and Las Vegas). League
stability was an issue, as several coaches dropped out during the season. However the level of competition was high and more often the games were close and exciting.
“The Show” (playoffs) produced several exciting games, including the championship game between veteran Eric Robinson and rookie Robert Jackson.
